The Denison barb (Sahyadria denisonii) is a colorful freshwater fish from India's Western Ghats, known as the Red Torpedo Barb or Roseline Shark in the aquarium trade. It's a peaceful, active schooling fish that needs a large tank with fast-flowing, pristine water, and is popular in aquariums. Captive breeding has made it more available, and it's crucial to buy captive-bred specimens.

Not truly a shark but actually a very long barb! Unlike most other barbs, the Roseline Shark is a very peaceful fish that is a great addition to any larger community aquarium and are very easy to keep.
